With 18 years experience in the health and fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist I have supported hundreds of people through designing bespoke Nutrition and Exercise Programmes.
Following a running injury in 2016 I became interested in massage therapy and decided to become a fully qualified Sports Massage Therapist through the Manchester School of Therapy. I am now able to assist my clients as much as possible, helping to keep them injury free whilst improving their quality and quantity of their training.
I have supported hundreds of people through designing bespoke weight loss and exercise Programmes to training for an Ironman, helping to keep them injury free whilst improving their quality and quantity of their training.
As a former Sports Lecturer and an avid Endurance Athlete I love a challenge and no goal is too big or too small. I endeavour to support my clients all the way! For me there is no greater achievement than seeing others conquer what they never thought they were capable of!
Anything is Possible!
I have been running Nutritional Therapy programmes since I began my Fitness career in 2000 at Esporta Health and Fitness. These weight loss programmes address all kinds of physical and mental issues such as obesity, IBS, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, hormonal issues along with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
I have also worked with clients to aid and accelerate there progress for knee reconstructions, hip replacements, shoulder operations and general sporting injuries.
There is not a one size fits all approach where nutrition is concerned. I certainly don’t believe in rushing weight loss. Statistically people who lose large amounts of weight in a short space of time are more likely to put it back on faster than those who undergo a slower, more controlled plan.
Realistically, a 2lbs fat loss per week is achievable and sustainable for most. However behaviour change is critical and plays a vital role in my weekly one to one sessions. I aim to change your mindset towards your food choices making it a great deal easier to continue with the good habits long after the programme has completed.
